Summer has passed ended with the first semester exams. After the examination gets over, every student went for a vacation. As a single daughter, Catrinel had to go home to Romania to spend her vacation with her family. Sofiah, Jury, Mihai, and Radu spent their vacaton at Oxford. And it was very rare for them to meet up somewhere. Even Sofiah and Jury, they didn't meet each other very often as Jury's parents came to visit her at Oxford so she had to leave the hostel and stayed at hotel with her parents.
Mihai, since he was busy working he never meet Radu not even at home. Didn't know where was Radu all the time. He didn't even care because he was sure that Radu know what to do in his life. He only meet Jury at restaurant with her family while they had a dinner as it was an accident.
"What a surprise???" said Jury to Mihai who didnt expect that Jury was there too.
"Yeah, been a long time since exams days.." said Mihai to Jury who was sitting with her parents at a round table looking at the menus.
"Since when you've been working here?? I didn't know that I'll meet you here serving me. I thought you were working somewhere else." said Jury still amazed.
"Well, I've been working for almost a week. I can get extra salary here especially now days are a vacation day." said Mihai and smiling to Jury who knows a liitle about him.
"Ohh, that's so nice." said Jury and then her mother whispered asking her who she was talking with. And she says "This is my friend from university. Mihai from Romania.
"Nice to meet you." said Jury's mother followed with her father nodded his head. They seemed not really care about him. They ordered some foods at the time. They didn't got time to talk after that. Mihai was also so busy serving a lot of costumers.
Since that day Jury became very often went to eat there where Mihai works at. One night Jury came at late hour. And she stayed until the restaurant closed. As usually, Mihai always taking care of his friends who eat at the restaurant he works.
" Are you waiting for somebody?" asked Mihai to Jury who was still sitting on table doing nothing.
"No one." replied Jury by giving a hopeless smile.
"Are you okay?" asked Mihai again when he saw her smile.
"I think yes I am fine." answered Jury again.
" Let me bring you coffee and wait me for just 25 minutes and we'll walk tonight." said Mihai carefull. And he left to get a coffee for Jury and then continued working.
When he finished his work, he asked Jury to walk with him. On the way they didn't know where to go. So they kept talking and walking. They strated to talk about htier life in Oxford until the subject goes to Jury's life in Lebanon which was also included about her exboyfriend story.
"Don't worry Jury, maybe this is the best for you." said Mihai after listening Jury's story.
"Boys are complicated.." said Jury sighed. They were walking nest to the garden which was dark and lightened by some low light around the city. The street wasn't empty because it was saturday night. A lot of people around, especially teenagers.
"I really don't know what to say. But I am sure you will find somebody around here soon." said Mihai confused of what he wanted to tell her. Suddenly they were walking and being silence. Mihai was feeling tired and thought about going home earlier. He tried to see Jury's face to make sure that she is not sad anymore.
"Are you all right?" asked Mihai to make sure that she was fine.
"Yep, I'm all right." said Jury and smiling to Mihai.
"That's great! So can I go home? I'm really tired." said mihai yawned.
Jury was looking at him and smiled and says "Sure! Sorry for taking your rest time."
"Neah, it's a duty as I am your friend." said Mihai and looked around the street to make sure that the condition was fine for a girl to walk alone at night. "Where is your hotel?" asked Mihai which had been told by Jury that she lives at the hotel since their parents came to Oxford city.
"It's right beside that white building." said Jury pointed at the white building in front of the highway. The street right there was crowded. It looks like familiar with a lot of visitors around. It had a lot of lights and cars moving around. The situation made Mihai felt like he didn't have to deliver her to the hotel. With holding his head and rubbing his left arm he says " So, it's not far tough."
"Yep, just a very straight walk and I'll reach it." said Jury with fondling her hair like usually.
" Right! See you again soon. And take care." said Mihai and started to walk away to the right street which was aimed to his apartment.
"Thanks! You too! Bye!" said Jury who was walking through the hotel.
Mihai's apartment was a little bit away. He had to walk a little more to reach another street which was 20 more metters from the street he was walking. He wishteled and enjoyed all the way alone at street. When he arrived in front of the apartment, he saw Radu's car parked right beside the apartment. He kept walking through the apartment and wondered if he could meet Radu awake while he got home. But when he arrived, Radu was asleep.
The apartment was a bit messy since Catrinel left to Romania. The boys just came in and out of the apartment without taking care of it. Mihai went to his room which he used to share it with Catrinel. While he changed his clothes he stared to the laptop which the screen was still open. And he was thinking to use it for checking an updates of his friends from Facebook. When he did that, he saw a lot of updates from his girlfriend. New photos of Catrinel with her families, her friends, and Mihai's parents made him miss Romania very much. He made some comment at some photos. And then he clicked on home button to see another new updates of his friends. He saw Sofiah's status which it was written "Heart is like a canvas, feelings are the paint, every colour has a meaning , and the drawer are the feelings creator..". He smiled because he liked the way Sofiah thought. He was thinking to meet her somewhere for a coffee. So he left a comment as it was "I'd like to draw a rainbow.. Would you have a coffee at Greens Cafe tomorrow at 4 pm?? call me for a reply ..". After that he closed his laptop and went to bed. Suddenly his phone beeped as it was a new sms came. It was Catrinel text him asked if he wanted to take some stuff from his parents house before she'll leave the town the next day. He was really tired, so he replied her and turned his phone silence after that. He was happy after looking his parents picture with Catrinel. Remembering some moments with his parents and Catrinel were together and had fun. But suddenly Sofiah's face appeared as an imagination which made him smiling. He felt strange about it and took his phone to write another sms to Catrinel which was "miss you". And then he went to sleep.
